Dapper Dan Farm offers year round, full service care and board. We host five shows every year; including breed, pleasure, and hunter classes. We are a prime farm for riders who want to show but not travel. For the riders who do want to show the bigger circuit, or local, we do travel too.
Every morning after breakfast, horses are turned out. Each group or single are rotated between large grass paddocks and dirt paddocks. For injured horses, small paddocks are available as well. The horses are turned out from 8am to 1pm, everyday, as long as weather permits.
Our large grass hunt course is kept well groomed throughout the year. At the farm shows, it is used for all the hunter, jumper, and equitation classes. In the summer, advanced jumping lessons are taught on the hunt course.
An outdoor sand ring is also located on the property. Breed and pleasure classes, as well as flatting lessons are held in it. Good drainage and footing makes it usable even after heavy rains. Located in a protected area, it is open well into the winter until the ground freezes.
And for bad weather and winter days, our indoor is always available.
